I was thrilled. I was the explorer of consciousness back from the East with maps, and I wanted to show them around. The trouble was the maps could only be interpreted in the heart; words were really of no use. And when my ego got in the way, I saw clearly that it didn’t work.
Occasionally, I would remember Maharaj-ji had said not to talk about him, but I couldn’t help it. Inside I felt Maharaj-ji’s blessing and that is was okay to share. It felt like my dharma. I was feeding something in people, as he said I would, but it wasn’t me doing it. This was feeding children in the realm of consciousness, reminding us all that we are children of a higher consciousness.
